Martin Postic, Jr. | President
For more than 40 years, Martin “Marty” Postic, Jr. has been counseling clients in estate planning, probate and trust administration, asset protection, real estate transactions, and elder law. He has been named to Oklahoma Super Lawyers and to The Best Lawyers in America in the area of Elder Law, and he regularly gives seminars about estate planning, charitable giving, probate, elder law, and asset protection in the community and has been featured on radio and television. From 1997-2007, he also served as Adjunct Professor of Estate Planning at the Oklahoma City University Meinders School of Business.
Outside of his participation in professional organizations such as the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma City Real Property Lawyers Association, and the South Oklahoma City Lawyers Association, Marty dedicates a great deal of his time to civic and charitable causes. He has been an active Rotarian since 1982 and served as District Governor of District 5750 from 2007-08. In 2017, he was awarded Rotary International’s “Service Above Self Award”, the highest honor Rotary offers to its members.
Marty has also been very active in scouting and is a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award. He and both of his sons are also Eagle Scouts. For leisure, Marty enjoys playing the guitar and studying foreign languages. He speaks German as well as English. He is married to his law partner, Julie Bates, and has two sons, John, an Oklahoma City architect, and David, an attorney in the firm.
